Addiction

Addiction is an absolutely horrible situation; it arrives unannounced after slowly, silently and stealthily creeping up on us over time. To make things worse, others often don’t understand and we feel that the only comfort left is that very thing which is causing all this pain.

image:addiction conditionAddiction varies in extremes from being addicted to Coke Cola and sugar products, to Heroin and other class A drugs. By far the greatest numbers of addiction issues we encounter at BeOnForm however, concern withdrawal from prescribed medications!

Typically, we hear stories like “Back about five years ago, my Doctor gave me tablets for my depression/Anxiety/Blood Pressure etc. and last week he told me to stop taking them, I don’t know how I am going to cope”.

The other thing we frequently hear is “I have been on medication for years, but I know that these chemicals are not good for me, so want to stop taking them, but I’m finding it really difficult.”

Please Note, when voluntarily withdrawing from medication, we at BeOnForm always recommend that you discuss it with your Doctor first. There might well be reasons for you being prescribed that medication that you are unaware of and besides, it’s important that your Doctor monitors your progress.

How can BeOnForm be of service?

There are a number of issues involved with the treatment of addiction. Firstly, what is the underlying cause of the addiction? If it is medication given for anxiety for instance, then the anxiety must be treated alongside the withdrawal.

What are the withdrawal symptoms and how many are there? At BeOnForm our therapists will use Quantum Field Therapy © (QFT ©), to eliminate each of the symptoms in turn and teach you how to reprogram your desires, so that the cravings disappear.

Of all the areas BeOnForm covers, addiction is the most challenging. Not from a success/failure standpoint, because our success rate is phenomenal, rather it’s a case of time. We do not recommend complete withdrawal overnight, rather a staged approach where the stimulant is reduced slowly. During this process, our therapists will work with you to reduce cravings and side effects whilst at the same time, working to get your subconscious mind to have better expectations for your future, as you will no longer be reliant on the substance you previously could not live without. This latter part is the most important, because it addresses the original cause of your addiction and will therefore protect against a relapse.

One ex heroin user told us that since treatment by BeOnForm, when faced with a situation where they would normally take heroin without a second thought, “something, tells me not to, previously I wouldn’t have hesitated.”

One of the major issues with hard drugs is not just breaking away from the drug, but also from the company you are keeping. Another ex heroin user said to us recently “I can’t believe you are so pleased that I am still clean, all my friends are so negative about it!” At BeOnForm, we will give you the advise, help and encouragement you need to break free, but you need to do your bit too.

Quantum Field Therapy © (QFT ©) a unique blend of Thought Field Therapy (TFT), Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP), Reiki, Guided Visualisation / Journey Therapy, Regression Therapy, Meditation, Alpha Access, Use of Meta language, Mind Calming and Applied kinesiology (AK), developed and practised by BeOnForm has proven over and over again to be superior to any single treatment when tailored to each individual case...
