Agoraphobic bride free to marry in Church

Laura Smith, an agoraphobic, thought she would never get married, as she has been unable to leave her home for six years. Now Laura has been given the chance to get the church wedding she has always dreamed of, thanks to agoraphobia specialist Lloyd Watkins.
Agoraphobia means ‘fear of the marketplace’ but it’s a bit of a misnomer because it’s actually the fear of having a panic attack and it can keep people trapped in their homes, afraid to go out.
